Zuzu's Petals
This is a project that has been going in parallel with Pairanormals for many years. It started when our good friend (and monster musician) Johnny Dusharm came to us with some amazing, unfinished song ideas. We helped mold the ideas into songs and we got to recording.
The project evolved over the course of recording three albums, and along the way we enlisted some very talented friends to write and record with us.
Zuzu's Petals played just two live shows. One at the legendary Nectar's in Burlington, VT. The other was for Late Night Saturday with Tim Kavanagh, a “taped before a live studio audience” TV talk show.
The third and (likely) final album from the Zuzu's Petals project. This is the closest we got to being a complete band project. Features John Dusharm on guitars; Mark Lurvey on guitars and vocals; Thom Carvey on bass, sax and vocals; Todd Mulvey on drums; Bill Legge on keys and vocals; Cliff Wanner on guitars and vocals.
